Eventually, Heather and Kai will reach the point of equilibrium where they have come to resemble each other so much that they will have become, not only mentally, but physically, a sort of identical twin - at least, to the human eye: for they remain two different people, each born of a different mother. And then what also takes place, once they have reached this equilibrium point, is that the continuous swapping then finally comes to an end. Depending on the time at which they remain "sealed" in the relevant body, but because they already go through life as a kind of identical twins, it makes no difference anymore whether they are sealed in their "original" bodies, or in the body of the other - the difference is then no longer visible, and both have lived in each other's bodies so often that they themselves no longer know which body their original body was now ... . - Tom -
