Mind Numbing

  1. Despite the fact that Lela didn't really think it was necessary for Mr. Diago paid her a (generous!) salary, he insisted that she accept the salary. "You never know what will happen in the future," he said, "and besides, I'm quite old and not exactly the youngest anymore." Lela saw that he was right, and decided to use the generous salary to both save and get an education. She decided to train as a nurse, so that she would at least have vocational training, and therefore a job opportunity, if something happened.
In the end, it turned out that not only Mr. Diago but also Lela had made a good decision. mr. Diago died six months before the expiry of her contract (which fortunately contained the clause that it would be automatically terminated if Mr. Diago died naturally.) due to a heart failure. To avoid problems with the heirs, Lela left the mansion within a week and moved into a modest, but more than adequate apartment for her. Now she could devote herself completely to her exam, in which she was fortunate that, if she passed, she would immediately be given a permanent position in the hospital where she had completed an internship.
And so it happened, and in the course of that first year she got to know a youth care worker, with whom she immediately clicked. More than a year later, they set a wedding date and held a modest, intimate wedding for their real friends, close colleagues and immediate family. Exactly one year after they got married, Lela gave birth to identical twin girls, completing their family happiness.... . - Tom -
