The four months of this class flew by, and on the penultimate day of the swap period, the original Ms. Vivian (in my body) and I meet to discuss the experiences gained globally. When we got together, she came up with a surprising proposal: it turned out that during "my absence" my parents had gotten into serious financial trouble due to a bank error. ms. Vivian, as their "new son", had helped them force the bank to undo their mistake, which they initially refused to admit. To this end, she had often worked "double days" - study, part-time job and tackling the bank error! My parents were so grateful to her for this that they asked her to live life as "their son" forever, and not to swap back. ms. Vivian made it clear to them that she was pleasantly surprised by this proposal and that she would love to say "yes!" wanted to say, but she thought it was neat to discuss this with me first before making a final decision. Although I was completely surprised by this development, I could feel the feelings of both my parents and Ms. Vivian (in my body) all too good for couples. Touched, I kissed "my old self" on the mouth and then openly declared that I wholeheartedly blessed "the new son" of "my old parents" and that we would forever remain who we were today. Wiping away his tears of emotion, the new son of "my old parents" kissed me good-bye on the mouth, and left, facing his new and lasting future.... . - Tom -
