This story reminds me a bit of a short story by Stephen King, in which a boy, who has lost his father, finds solace in listening to a radio, which, however, turns out to have "special qualities" that make him "travel back" in time, prevents his father from dying and then - if I remember correctly - ending up in the present again, but now with his own father instead of a stepfather. Lovely story, beautifully executed! - Tom -
