Cut and Ran

  1. Soon all these worries were dispelled by the imminent birth of my child (a girl), which was irrevocably approaching. And then there was the day of the birth itself: it turned out to be quite a strenuous journey, with the pain surprisingly staying within "acceptable limits" (but that was perhaps also due to the fact that I already "worked" already). had "done" a few births, so that perhaps some kind of (mental) habituation set in. Anyway, the moment my newborn daughter was lying on my chest (Cathy was her name), I just knew that I had everything for would do to her to give her the best possible future. Then she received her first feeding from me, and smiling I watched her, her searching eyes finding mine. Our journey had begun.... - Tom -
